The temperature is not staying where you put it at its lower than the setting. I put it on like I put it on 375 it only heats up to 350 or 360.

Garbage Grill

Spent $750 to buy a grill, then have to get a grill cover for $100 and then a grill tray for $80. Had used it 3 times at a party which had been disappointing to cook a chicken 3 and half hours each time. The lady from support asked for a serial number. I was getting the serial for her, she said take your time and hangs up at 3 minutes. 2nd call she said she will email me a troubleshoot instructions. Nothing was emailed but a survey. Now 3rd call. This is ridiculous. Stay away from traeger grills

Traeger wanted us to try to resolve the consistent breakdowns of our grill, but in the end acknowledged that our issue could not be resolved without a replacement grill. The replacement sent was to of the line and works perfectly. Kudos to Traeger for maintaining your...

I won't buy a Traeger

From the time it was purchased, it was a headache. Out of the box, the thermostat didn't work.

Had to wait for replacement after hours waiting for customer support. Because we live in Canada, you can't return to the store purchased. Only to Traeger in the US. Next was the auger.

Sent a new one, which was broken in the box. Traeger sends another auger, which worked twice. It is important to note that since no real support is offered in Canada, customers are expected to perform their own repairs. Thanks Traeger!

Last time it was used, at a large gathering, the third auger stopped working. Twice we had to remove pellets and manually turn the auger to get it started. And then suddenly smoke started billowing out, thick enough to clear all guests on the deck. This was followed by a "whomp" which I assumed was an ignition.

And for its final malfunction, the temperature began to climb rapidly, and well beyond the set temperature, and it wouldn't stop. We pulled the plug and finished cooking in the oven. This grill is an expensive piece of garbage.

Since I can't return it, since we're not interested in wasting any more time being Traeger repair technicians, and since I will NEVER use it again, I will take it to metal recycling depot. Hopefully, it can be melted down and repurposed into something that actually works.

Wifi connection

Can't get the new motherboard to connect to wifi. Don't know if I need to reload the app. The grill cycled on and went through shut down but can't figure how to connect to the internet

Bought a new timberline xl $4,000

Xmas day no ignite call customer service they had me tear 1/2 the grill apart to to their diagnostic test then they said they will be in touch they down loaded a new update then worked again 3

Days later

Now on 1 -30-23 same thing and wanted me to go out side at 3 degrees and rip it all apart again I explains Im not doing that again. I paid $4000.00 for this piece of ***

They informed me they have no service agents Im my area and I need to haul it 3.5 hours away to have someone look at it no thanks I said I will post every place I can to say dont buy Traeger My pit boss lasted 5 years no problem DONT BUY TRAEGER

Igniter is not working

first use of smoker after seasoning. the igniter kept shuting off. would lose temp. restarted grill after going thru shutdown. set at 300 degrees. The grill caught on fire. I had 30 lbs of chicken qtrs on it. Really bummed. I want to take it back. i babysit the grill for three hours.

Grill got rained on and I cleaned and called customer service. They walked me through the east steps of removing the control panel. Once we did that, we removed wires one by one and then put them back in and trouble shot the problem.
